A beautiful way to see the coastline lighthouses, real estate, harbors and seals and whales. Bring your own food and use the galley and dishware we provide. We’ll provide light snacks. BYOB and we’ll provide water and seltzer.
History
The term “downeast” originates from trips up the Maine coastline which are far more about going east than north. A downeast boat is typically a semi-displacement hull with a narrow entry, which eases back to a soft chine. The Downeast hulls do not pound and are well noted for their comfort in a seaway.
